SPRING LEAGUE

FOR TENNIS APPRENTICE GRADUATES

We are offering a fun, organized, league play to socialize and have some tennis fun. 

 Winner earns a free spot in our Summer League from June 2- July 24th, 2025.

COST:

• $55/ per player
• Fee includes registration fee, league fees for all matches, balls (balls will be provided)

FORMAT: 

• Round Robin Style Doubles with Play Offs depending on the draw size
• 5-6 weeks (Depending on the draw size with possible one bye week

CRITERIA:

• TEAM= 2 players
• You need to have a doubles partner to register!
• For players who completed Tennis Apprentice class in the past or are 2.0 level
• Players must be able to serve, rally and keep the score!

• SUB PLAYERS:
  • Must be the same level
  • Players are responsible to find a sub player and let the facility know. 
  • Sub players are not guaranteed to play any matches. Sub player is called to replace a player who is not available to play a match.

LEAGUE RULES

• Please arrive 15 minutes before match to get your court assignment.
• In the event of inclement weather, Acadiana Serves will decide whether or not the courts will be playable.
• Match Score Format: two regular sets (7-point set tiebreaker at 6 all) with a 10-point match tiebreaker at one set all.
• Matches must be played on scheduled days and times. If a match cannot be played with original team members or a sub, a forfeit must be given.
• If both players from one team need a SUB, a forfeit must be given to the other team counting it as a "win" no matter the outcome. 
• If you reschedule a match due to any other reasons but a rainout it will count as a sub match for both teams.
• A match that team forfeits will count as a sub match for that team.
• Subs can only come from a sub list or to be approved by Acadiana Serves.
• Rain Make ups: All rain make ups must be completed before play off week.
• Only 2 matches with subs per season allowed for the matches to count as a "win", 3rd match or more with a sub will not count as a "win", it is still a loss for the losing team.
• In the event of a tie: the winning team will be determined in this order: 1. Head Up, 2. Least amount of sets lost, 3. Least amount of games lost
