We are thrilled to announce a collaborative effort between Lafayette Council on Aging and St. Martin Council on Aging for a joint fundraiser in support of the Home Delivered Meals (Meals on Wheels Program). This initiative aims to address the urgent need for home-delivered meals among our senior community, with all proceeds directly benefiting this vital service.
As of now, there are over 500 seniors collectively on our waiting list, eagerly awaiting the assistance provided by Home Delivered Meals, which provides 7,500 meals per month. Recognizing the growing demand and the critical role this program plays in ensuring the well-being of our seniors, we are organizing two events, a golf tournament and a tennis tournament, to raise funds and awareness.
